strawberry-rhubarb cylon.

pie number one! strawberry rhubarb is iona’s favourite and there was rhubarb for sale at the ann arbor farmers market that week, so it was a simple choice.

we used this recipe for the pie dough but didn’t have any vodka, so substituted maker’s mark instead.

the filling was just chopped strawberry, rhubarb, sugar, probably some flour and definitely some butter. hey, it’s been a few weeks.

and lots of egg on the crust to make it brown. iona made the pretty woven crust.
